Amalfi Coast & Capri

Amalfi Coast & Capri

Near the top of every Italy lover’s bucket list, the Amalfi Coast is a majestic and stunningly beautiful jewel in Italy’s western coast. Located 1-2 hours drive from Naples its super accessible to tourists and locals.

The region is spectacularly beautiful with rugged, windy, clifftop roads that test the nerves and the stomach of those who traverse it. Many of the big auto manufacturers film their commercials on this famously beautiful stretch of road, although we wonder when/how they manage to find it so empty!

The picturesque towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, along with the famous isle of Capri are the names you’ve probably heard before. Each lives up to the hype; the attention to detail in the ocean-facing towns, is as breath-taking as the scenery en-route.

The Amalfi Coast region and Capri specifically are famous for the local growers’ world-beating lemons that are so often depicted in artworks, on fabrics, in jewelry and on ceramics that they have become somewhat synonymous with the region.

Equally synonymous are the famed maiolica tiles; in all hues of blue against clean ceramic white. Often juxtaposed against the colourful flora of the coast.

If you fancy carrying some Amalfi Coast with you, take a look at DOLCE ITALIANA's 'Capri'Positano or 'Maiolica' collections.
